The Story Behind the Brand
I built Protagonyst because I wanted to cultivate a community that felt like a football team, something more than clothing. I wanted something that represented the way athletes move through the world. I have spent years playing football, training, pushing my limits and finding my voice in a sport where you have to fight to be taken seriously. This brand is my story and it is the story of anyone who has ever kept going when they could have stopped. It is for the people who grow through pressure, who show up even when the odds are not pretty, who refuse to sit on the sidelines of their own life. Protagonyst is my reminder that we each lead our own story.
About the Founder
My professional tackle football career spans over 10 years as a wide receiver, grinding through long seasons, tough matchups and the putting in the after hours work most fans never see. The sport shaped me in every way. It taught me how to stay calm under pressure, how to trust my instincts and how to keep showing up even when my body or mind felt tired. Football gave me confidence, direction and community. It is where I learned resilience and where I found the voice that eventually led to Protagonyst.
